Best Practice International Student Engagement Consultation Workshops
Deakin University has been contracted by the Australian Government to implement the Best Practice International Student Engagement Project under the International Education Innovation Fund (IEIF). The IEIF is a $10 million program to support the international education sector to innovate, diversify and grow.
The project team is seeking to identify enabling and inhibiting factors in international student engagement and showcase good practice in supporting international students. The desktop analysis identified key areas of international student engagement and we are keen to explore these areas through a series of consultation workshop based on these themes.
We are seeking expressions of interest from education providers, professional organisations, community groups, researchers, practitioners and students who conducted research or implemented/participated in good practice programs in the key themes of the workshops. It is important that we get a broad range of participants to represent the diversity of stakeholders.
We look forward to engaging with the international education community and other stakeholders to identify Best Practice in International Student Engagement.
For further enquiries and to submit an expression of interest to participate in one or more of the workshops, please email best-practice-ise@deakin.edu.au with your relevant interest in the workshop theme.
